I bring more than 20 years of leadership, negotiation and commercial experience to my work in dispute resolution. My career has centred on understanding people, managing complex business relationships and making decisions where organisational priorities and individual interests intersect.

My background includes senior leadership roles across psychological assessment, education, professional publishing, technology and manufacturing. I have held Divisional P&L responsibilities Sales/Marketing, R&D, Product Development and negotiated commercial arrangements and managed relationships with customers, distributors, licensing partners and professional organisations in Canada and internationally.

That work has involved intellectual property and licensing agreements, publishing and distribution arrangements, strategic partnerships and organisational change. It has required careful attention to contractual expectations, competing priorities and the communication challenges that can place an otherwise productive relationship under strain.

This experience provides practical context for understanding how workplace and commercial disputes develop—and why their consequences often extend beyond the immediate disagreement. A disputed agreement can affect parties business continuity, professional relationships, employees and future opportunities.

As a Qualified Arbitrator and founder of Agius Dispute Resolution, I approach each matter with independence, preparation and respect for the parties. In arbitration, my responsibility is to assess the evidence and submissions within the applicable legal and contractual framework and provide a reasoned decision. In mediation, I help parties clarify their concerns, examine their interests and explore an informed, self-determined result.
